Rejuvenating

Since my internship is only three days a week, my weekend starts now! We all know what that means.... shopping and relaxing! As much as I absolutely LOVE my job, I always look forward to the weekend to when I can take time for myself relax and then repeat on Monday. I treated myself to a trip to Urban Outfitters after work today and was in heeavvennnn. I think that this season has to be the best yet at Urban.
I always love winding down the week by reading all of the blog posts that I have missed during the week to catch up on what everyone is talking about. I also love reading a magazine or two to relax and keep track of trends at the same time. This weeks specialty was InStyle, and it was a good one. Having August issues on the racks can only mean one thing.... September issues are next! And who doesn't love a great September issue spread.
If you guys have any trends that yo have seen in the latest couture shows, magazines, etc., I want to heart about them! I hope you all had a great week and continue to have a fabulous weekend.

Winding Down

It's that time of the summer where everything seems like it's going by way too fast. I can't believe that this upcoming week will be the last week of my internship. It has been the BEST experience I could have asked for. I learned a lot about the fashion business and know that I'm definitely headed in the right direction.

Can we talk about how fast summer is going by? Before you know it I will be moving back into school! EEP! I will be posting a lot of back to school posts in the upcoming weeks are we are winding down and getting down to business… when I say business I mean back to school clothes shopping..duh.

A Trip To The Capital

I told you guys I would catch up with you after my trip and here I am! Washington D.C was so much fun and such a cute city! I never realized that it was so quaint, especially in places like Georgetown. I was totally blow away by the cute little town houses that were spread throughout the city. Happy Hump Day!

We are halfway through the week guys! As much as I am loving the work I'm doing this week I'm already so excited for this weekend because I will be road tripping!! Road trip! road trip! Finding a Balance

Hi all! This week has started off as crazy busy at work. And being busy only means one thing, finding time to relax and enjoy the summer while it's flying by! My plans for today are sleep, eat, watch USA beat Belgium's butt (sorry Belgiumers), and get well rested for another big day at work tomorrow!
I thought I would start this morning off with a delicious breakfast - chocolate chip muffin - nothing more yummy than that!

Corporate Life Catch Up

Hi all!! Long time, no chat. Between going back and forth from the city and hanging with fam and friends I haven't been able to post as much! But I promise you that is about to change very quickly.
I have been a month into my internship and I am looooving it. I am learning so much about the corporate world and what it takes to actually make it in the fashion business. It is not easy work people, not easy.
Working in the one and only NYC has been a complete dream.  I do have my days when I don't feel like going through the morning commute but once I get there everything changes. Here are some pics that give you a look at my journey so far. :)

Good Reads

Hi all! So usually I'm not a huge reader (besides magazines) but I have found my summer reading book…. and it's.. fun. Reading and fun are not words I thought I would use in a sentence but that did just happen.
Drumroll…
Revenge Wears Prada. This book is the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. TDWP is my inspiration. It is the movie I watch whenever I'm bored or looking for something to cheer me up, so I thought why not take a look at the sequel?! I'm only at the beginning of the book but as far as I can tell it's a pretty fun read! I just keep picturing them making another movie out of it with the amazing Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep again. Please?!

I thought I would share my inspiration through every week. I get inspired very easily. By the people I see everyday, everything I wear and of course by all of you who read my blog a lot! I really appreciate all of you who read, it means so much. I love blogging so much it makes me feel that I can talk about anything I want with all of you.
Today, my inspiration of the day is…. drumroll….. New York City. I mean, how does NYC not inspire someone? My Second Home - NYC

Hey girlies! Today I took a trip to the city for some shopping and fun - TGIF! There is something about New York City that just makes you feel like you can do whatever you want. It makes you feel important. Somehow that feeling never gets old to me. Someday I want to live in the city to fully experience it. It also just makes me forget about any stress.
On my little adventure, of course I had to go into Zara because shopping addict. I picked up a ton of cute new pieces but more business casual since I do have an internship in the city this summer. Weee! I'll feature these new pieces in a later post.
