Last Hoorah!

Hello lovers! Long time no chat! As the end of freshman year winds down, I'm starting to get a little sad just thinking about leaving my school, my friends and all of the wonderful people that I've been surrounded with! This has been quite the experience of a freshman year. Many memories and many mistakes have been made. It is safe to say that it was all definitely worth it.
How have you chickies been?! This upcoming week is finals week for me, so you bet I'll be downing dunkin and starbs like no other. A little caffeine never hurt nobody.. am I right?

Look of the Day

GIRLS! Man, it has been way too long. I have been going cuuuuhrazy around school and everything that I decided that I really needed to catch up with all of you. So first order of business, how are you guys?! What have you been up to?! It's amazing how much I actually miss blogging when I'm not doing it. It makes me feel so free and creative!
Second order of business, I went on a trip to Newport today and it was soo much fun! I decided to go with a more toned down and casual look than going absolutely crazy trying to find something to wear.
Also, got Vans for Easter….. um LOVE! I don't know why but I have never owned a pair of Vans before… don't kill me. They are maybe one of the best part of any outfit. I have been wearing them everyday and they go with legitimately anything.

Celeb Fashion Inspiration

Hey girls! I am always being inspired by everything I see everyday from nature, to blogs, celebrities and you guys obviously! I thought I'd share with you a couple of celebrities of who have inspired my outfits the most and why I love them so much. Let's get started!

1. Rachel Zoe

I mean, obviously Rachel Zoe has to be number one. She is literally my inspiration for everything. I have all of her books, I check her website multiple times a day and just consult it for everything. I love her boho chic look and how she manages to make everything look so polished. I love a polished look myself, but she just makes it look effortless.

2. Lauren Conrad 

Lauren Conrad is another person who I totally idolize and has totally inspired my outfits for everyday. She is so girly and cute and knows the essentials that every girl should have and makes outfits very accessible to wear and easy to put together. 

3. Blake Lively 

Come on now, how can you not be obsessed with what Blake Lively is wearing at all times? I have seen her in person in my town and she STILL looks like perfection. She always looks so polished and crisp (yes, i just used that adjective). Her style is one that I could wear everyday and feel absolutely amazing. 

This list could go on forever, but I thought I would stop at three. Celebrities always can inspire so many outfits, even if you don't have the exact pieces that they wore; find something similar! I would like to think of my style as cute, polished with a hint of trendy. I always love incorporating one trend into every outfit that I wear; that way it seems like you never wear the same thing more than once since there are so many trends to try! Since spring is coming, I'll definitely be looking to these celebs to find out the major trends (as Rachel Zoe would say, so maj). I hope you all have a lovely week!

Rays of Sunshine

Hello my darlings! I am really enjoying these warm sunny days of spring! I am also so ready to break out all of my new spring clothes; crop tops, shorts, sandals.... AGH! It's all so exciting. Warm weather gets me in such a good mood.

Hair Must Have

I wanted to share with you guys my all time favorite hair product. This is my saving grace. The one and only thing that will make my crazy curls tame. And for all the girls out there with curly hair, I know.

Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream

It is… the Moroccan Oil Hydrating Styling Cream. Many of you probably already know about this product, but for those of you who don't…..RUN. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done if my hair stylist did not suggest this product to me. Although it is a little pricey, it is totally worth it, I promise. I use it after I get out of the shower. You can either let it dry naturally or blow dry it out straight (which I have gotten immune to doing). Either way, your hair will come out flawless *cue Beyonce song Flawless*.

A Night for the Movies

Hey chicas! Tonight I totally treated myself to a movie night instead of doing reading that I should have been doing…. oopsies. yolo. Anyway, it truly is maybe one of my all time inspiration movies.

I mean who doesn't want to be Miranda Priestley in this movie? AM I RIGHT PEOPLE?! I mean I could totally settle for Andy's job as well, but nothing beats being at the top. This movie inspires my outfits everyday and always makes me get in the best mood after watching it. It's one of those 'feel good and be inspired' movies. 

As someone who is in love with everything fashion, I can totally relate to this movie, as can all of you I'm sure. Since today was the first day of spring, I felt really springy and didn't even wear a jacket. That's right. I'm praying that this weather continues! Better weather, better outfits! As much as I loved the sweaters and boots, I cannot wait any longer to put on a cute pair of shorts with some cute sandals.

Wanted

I've been thinking a lot about how I need new spring clothes and shoes. Clothes are the easy part. The hard part is finding out what to wear on your feet! Is it too hot to wear boots, it's too cold to wear flip flops and sandals. So here is what I figured my new spring shoes should be…

I love the d'orsay flats with the ankle strap; it just makes the shoes look more dainty. And usually I'm not a converse/sneaker girl (except sneaker wedges, duh) but I love the Superga sneakers in all the colors…. decisions. Let me know what you guys think! OPI in Mod About You 

I love all of these colors but one of my personal favorites is Mod About You by OPI. I have been wearing this color aaaallll the time, whenever I can. It looks great on nails and makes your skin tone look tanner since its a bright/light color (if that makes sense). 

Looking at all of these colors makes me want to have spring come so much faster! It's been brutally cold where I am and I just need some sun!!! (please? maybe?).

This Is It

For my last night home for now, we went out to dinner. Real food… I'm going to miss it. I am ready to be back on campus, back in the groove, back to the gym (I've been slacking, big time). It's going to be nice seeing everyone at school again. I hope everyone had a good week and a good night! On to watch my team play in the Big East Championships!!! Fingers crossed ladies! Catching Up

All day yesterday and today I have been trying to catch up on all of the new spring clothes and magazines that have been coming out. Every store has been getting their new spring collections in, SO EXCITING! It gets me in the best mood to see all of the bright colors, pastels, shorts and bathing suits! (Yikes). My spring break is coming to an end and soon I'll be back at school with all my friends and a lot more fun posts coming up!
Blogging has completely taken over. Everywhere I go now I'm like "Oh, I should post this, or this, or that!" And I absolutely love it! I love sharing all of my thoughts with you guys about trends, clothes, makeup, food, anything really.
