Natural Makeup Look

Makeup will always be one of my loves. I find that it is one of the best ways to express yourself. I usually go for the more bold look - cat eye, contour and shadow. Today I wanted to try something different and try to go for a more natural look. Although I used most of my everyday products, I didn't go as heavy on the hand as I usually do. I substituted all eyeliner for a darker eyeshadow, even on my bottom lashes and think I will continue with this look for when I don't feel like putting on a lot of makeup. If you guys like this look and want a full tutorial video, let me know, I would be more than happy to do one for you all. I hope you all enjoy and all products are listed below!

P.S. Sorry for the horrible quality,  I tried my best to capture the best effect of this look!

Makeup Of The Day - MOTD

Girlies! How is everyone doing?! Hopefully starting off the week with a bang. I found the perfect makeup look that will look good on everyone. It is so simple but yet looks like it could take forever. I personally wear this look maybe 90% of the time. It is my go-to look. And all of the eyeshadow is from the original Naked palette so you don't need five different eye shadow brands to go to!

Step 1: Apply Benefit's Stay Don't Stray eye shadow primer all over your lid. This makes your eye makeup stay all day without flaking all over your face (especially if this look includes sparkly eyeshadow).

Step 2: Apply the shade Virgin from the Naked palette on the inner corner of your eye to make your eye color pop.

Step 3: Apply shade Naked from the Naked palette all over lid. It is a natural color but still gives it a matte finish.

Step 4: From middle to outer lid, apply the shade Sidecar to give it a little bit of a shimmery look so it doesn't look painted on. This is always one of my steps in every makeup look that I wear.

Step 5: On the outer lid apply the shade Buff and in the crease apply the the shades either Smog or Dark Horse. Smog will give you a lighter smokey eye while Dark Horse makes this smokey eye less dramatic and more natural.

Step 6: For eyeliner, I use the Nars Precision Pen. Make a small cat eye line and fill it in as thick as you want. Depending on my look for that day, a thinner line makes it look more natural. A thicker line makes it more dramatic but can also make your eyes pop more.

Step 7: I use L'Oreal Voluminous mascara. This mascara is such a must-have. Even a ton of the makeup gurus on youtube use this mascara and swear by it. Make sure to shake the mascara wand back and forth at the root of your lashes to make them look longer and more voluminous (its's a trick that is similar to teasing your hair).

Step 8: Go show everyone how fabulous you look. Let me know what they say.
