Book of the Moment: I Let You Go
I have been waiting to find a good book to read this summer and I think I've finally found it!
I Let You Go, by Clare Mackintosh, seems to be the new The Girl On The Train. Same tragic, mysterious, plot-twist story that I have been loooving lately. Since I have just started, I don't have much of a feel for it yet. I will definitely post back on here for a Book Review post!
I am always looking for other good books to read on the beach, so if you guys have any that you have been reading lately I'd love to here your suggestions! Xoxo Steph

The Only Lip Product You Need This Summer
One and done.
When I come across a great product that you can't necessarily find everyday, I obsess over it. This lip balm is one of those products. Part of Trish McEvoy's Bronze Glamour Collection, the Essential Lip Balm is the one and only lip product you need to get you through the hot summer days. Needless to say, it is an absolute beauty essential. Whether you are rushing out the door, or looking for a pop of color on a beach day, this balm will complete any beauty look. You don't even need a whole face of makeup for you to look fresh faced with this product! It'll be worth the $28, I promise. You can thank me later. Xoxo Steph

Moving and Grooving
Yes, it is that time of year again... back to school! I love being back at school and in my own schedule but it can definitely be overwhelming and, not to mention, stressful. I'm doing my best though, loading up on caffeine and having a blast with my friends on campus!
To catch up with you guys a little bit:
I am a new Campus Ambassador for Intern Queen! I am so excited to be a part of the IQ family! If you aren't too familiar with Intern Queen, go to www.internqueen.com and check it out! It's a great website for college girls to get internships and also learn about internship experiences from other girls! I can't wait to get started and to share with you guys about all of the fun stuff I'm going to be doing for my own campus!
I hope all of you are having a great week so far (and yes, it is only Monday...). You got this. Power through girlfriend.
Xoxo Steph
P.S. Here are some pics of my year so far. I'd love to hear from you guys!

Internship Comes to an End
Today was my last day at the Oscar de la Renta office as a production intern. I cannot explain how much I absolutely loved my internship. It was definitely one of the best experiences ever and I can only hope to be fortunate enough to be back in that office. Working in one of the most renown fashion houses was absolutely surreal. I have included a couple pictures to show you behind the scenes of my last day.
How are all of your summer jobs/internships going?! I want to hear all about them! Hope you all have a great end to your weeks!

Natural Makeup Look
Makeup will always be one of my loves. I find that it is one of the best ways to express yourself. I usually go for the more bold look - cat eye, contour and shadow. Today I wanted to try something different and try to go for a more natural look. Although I used most of my everyday products, I didn't go as heavy on the hand as I usually do. I substituted all eyeliner for a darker eyeshadow, even on my bottom lashes and think I will continue with this look for when I don't feel like putting on a lot of makeup. If you guys like this look and want a full tutorial video, let me know, I would be more than happy to do one for you all. I hope you all enjoy and all products are listed below!
Xoxo Steph
P.S. Sorry for the horrible quality, I tried my best to capture the best effect of this look!

Rejuvenating
Since my internship is only three days a week, my weekend starts now! We all know what that means.... shopping and relaxing! As much as I absolutely LOVE my job, I always look forward to the weekend to when I can take time for myself relax and then repeat on Monday. I treated myself to a trip to Urban Outfitters after work today and was in heeavvennnn. I think that this season has to be the best yet at Urban.
I always love winding down the week by reading all of the blog posts that I have missed during the week to catch up on what everyone is talking about. I also love reading a magazine or two to relax and keep track of trends at the same time. This weeks specialty was InStyle, and it was a good one. Having August issues on the racks can only mean one thing.... September issues are next! And who doesn't love a great September issue spread.
If you guys have any trends that yo have seen in the latest couture shows, magazines, etc., I want to heart about them! I hope you all had a great week and continue to have a fabulous weekend.

NYC Hideouts
Working in New York City in the summer is so much fun but can also be overwhelming when you don't live there year round. It can take a while for a newcomer in the city to find the best coffee shops, restaurants, and quiet places. Luckily for you, I am going to be posting about the places that I have been exploring this summer in the big apple. There is no better feeling than finding a new place in the city that you've never been to; especially a little coffee shop that isn't a crowded Starbucks (I still love you....and your cake pops). Even those of you who don't get to go into the city all the time, this gives you a reason to hop on this train!
My first NYC hideout is....
My first NYC hideout is....
City Kitchen!
Located on 44th and 8th, City Kitchen is my most recent favorite place to go for a really fun lunch break. Inside are many different types of food vendors. Sushi, Mediterranean, Mexican, and let's not forget the amazing donut vendor - Dough (you'll thank me later). City Kitchen puts all of the your favorite foods in one place. It's location is right next to Times Square so its convenient for work or if you're just visiting for the day! You can have a seat at their window counter that looks out to 8th avenue for prime people watching, we all do it. The kitchen is also connected to Row Hotel, a very modern hotel in the city. It accommodates any type of taste buds out there so go try it out for yourself!
If you want to let me in on your NYC Hideouts or any place in the city that you love going to, comment below!

Book Obsession at the Moment: The Girl on the Train
This.Book.
Hi all! Let me just start this off by saying how I'm usually not a huge reader (I know, I know) but this book is definitely one of the best I've ever read. I always love a good mystery with a twist and this book is just that. If you've heard that it is a lot like Gone Girl, you've heard right, kind of. There is a crazy character but it doesn't necessarily go in the same direction as Gone Girl. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, not just the last 30 pages. I would recommend this book to anybody, reader or not, it will definitely grab your attention. Don't walk, RUN!
IF you guys have read this book I want to hear what you thought! Hope you all have a great Sunday and rest up for this busy week ahead!

Intern Living and Playing Catch Up
Hi all!
This summer has been full of crazy business. I wanted to make sure that I give a huge hello to all of my fellow bloggers and readers; you know how much I love you guys. I have been spending my summer interning at Oscar de la Renta and I cannot tell you how much I am loving it. I haven't been able to post a lot about it because of how busy I've been but it is definitely the highlight of my summer, if not, year.
Today is my day off so I wanted to get in as much as I could go before I get back to my work week schedule! I want to hear from you guys - interns, college chicks, etc. - what are you guys doing this summer?! I have included some photos from our Resort 2016 collection event, my summer in the city, and pictures I thought were definitely A.S. worthy.

Get Spring Break Ready
Making plans for spring break? Going to a tropical island? Thinking how the hell you're going to even try to get into a bikini from all of the food you ate this winter? Same. I've come up with a fuel proof plan that you can follow every week until spring break to get you ready to take on the islands.

Yoga, is a great way to relax and de-stress. I have learned this through many weeks of finals and yoga totally helped me out through the way. There are all types of yoga too! Candlelight (most relaxing) to Power (most rewarding) yoga. If you don't feel like doing full cardio but also don't want to feel like you didn't go to the gym, yoga is a great in between workout.
Zumba is loads of fun. Dancing the entire class, I mean, yes? I love to dance at parties so this is a great class for me. It's great cardio and the class goes by super fast because you're having so much fun. It is a great way to sweat but not even realize. Definitely give it a try if you haven't yet!
3 Days a Week
Spinning/Cardio
Doing cardio three days a week, at least, will get you toned and burn all of the calories you eat everyday. If you sign up for a spin class, if gives you an excuse to go to the gym. Think of it as going to a college class, except you're actually learning how to become more fit! Having someone teach you and guide you through the class makes it much easier than just going on the treadmill at your own pace and thinking that you're getting the exercise you need.
2 Days a Week
Body Pump/Weights
I know, someone says weights, you cringe. Body pump is a great way of getting every single part of your body toned. By using weights on a bar, you get your arms, abs, legs, and butt all at the same time! Yes, the first class will make you want to cry, and yes, the morning after you won't be able to walk. BUT, if you go a couple times you will get right into the groove AND they play awesome music so it (kinda sorta) feels like your dancing!
Extra Fun Stuff

Scarves For (Coldest) Days
If you're living in the Northeast and are struggling to stay warm when you're walking to class or even just getting into your car until the seats warm up, I feel you. Walking to class everyday with the bone chilling winds is getting old, real fast. I have a couple scarves that will get you through the rest of these cold days ahead! Spoiler Alert: they may or may not be all blanket scarves (I'm obsessed, oops.)

Snowball Fight Friday
TGIF! Even though I had a mini weekend in the middle of the week with two snow days, I could not be more excited for this weekend to get over my snow hangover. I've been stuck inside for most of the three days its been snowing and cannot wait to get back into my actual schedule! How have you all been handling this snow? Here in Providence, we got hit real hard with a little more than 2 feet.
Hey, if it means no classes I'm all for it; bring it on.
I've got some really exciting posts coming up in the future and can't wait to get back in the swing of things! Any suggestions of posts? PLEASE let me know! Would love to hear from all of you out there. Xoxo Steph

Chapped
Hello my loves! The struggle of chapped lips has definitely begun and I am having some serious trouble finding a great lip treatment. I usually use a Nivea stick but I always love trying new things!
I have some ideas of what I'm looking for. If you guys have any ideas of what lip balms to buy or maybe any DIY remedies, let me know! I would love to hear how you guys are dealing with the cold weather chapped lips!
Xoxo Steph
P.S These also make great stocking stuffers, but you didn't hear that from me ;)
I was thinking of getting this Marc Jacobs Lip Balm because it has great reviews and plus I am so obsessed with his makeup line.
If you guys use this one or know anyone who uses this comment below! :)
I have used Maybelline Baby Lips before and absolutely loved it and I'm thinking of going back to it again. It smells great and also really moisturizes your lips. Its great for just a clear shine of lip without any color if you are just running out of the house for two seconds and definitely for on-the-go people. Definitely recommend.

Giving Thanks and Love
Happy Thanksgiving all! I can't believe the day came and went as fast as it did! All I know is that I am still in a food coma and probably will have the best nights sleep ever. I am so thankful to have such a great family that celebrates holidays with me.
I also switched up my outfit choice for today (it was so last minute I promise!) I am posting it below and also posting a picture of my eye makeup for the day.
Lastly, I am so thankful for everyone who follows me and takes time to read! I hope you all are enjoying this as much as I am. Xoxo Steph
